Customer Service Representative – Part-time
We are seeking to hire a part-time, Customer Service Representative to assist with all aspects of customer engagement and satisfaction. This position would be a multi-faceted role including managing phone and email correspondences, online reviews, assist with venue rental inquires as well as coordinating meetings for our CEO. This position would also assist in the tasting room as a server.
The Customer Service Representative’s schedule would be 28.5 hours each week:
Tuesday: 8:00AM – 1:30PM
Wednesday: 8:00AM – 1:30PM
Thursday: 8:00AM – 1:30PM
Friday: 11:30AM – 5:30PM
Saturday: 11:30AM – 5:30PM
Compensation: $15.00 per hour

Essential Duties
- Answer winery phone and respond to customer email inquires
- Assist with online orders and order fulfillment
- Follow-up with customers who have placed online orders to ensure overall customer satisfaction
- Manage inquires for events, venue rentals and private wine tastings.
- Assist CEO with scheduling meetings and calendar appointments
- Support and carryout the mission and vision of Jenny Dawn Cellars
- Understand our products and services; fully inform potential customers.
- Educate our guests on the history of the brand and the wines.
- Properly open and pour Jenny Dawn Cellars wine.
- Handle cash drawer, wine, and food sales.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- 3 years of customer service and communications experience
- 1 year of administrative assistant experience.
- 1 year of event coordination experience.
- Passion for wine and customer service
- Engaging, outgoing, approachable personality.
- Passion for meeting new people and evangelizing wine products.
- Ability to work weekends and some holidays.
- Above average knowledge of wine and the wine industry.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. and familiarity with or ability to learn point of sale systems and winery software.
Work Environment
• Projects can take place both indoors and outdoors where temperatures can range from cold to hot depending on the season.
• Noise level is usually moderate.
Physical Demands
• Full body mobility. Ability to stand, walk, bend, sit, use tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, kneel.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly required to roll, move, and/or lift 60-gallon empty wine barrels when needed.
• Ability to work for extended periods of time at a computer.
Wine Server – Part-Time
Jenny Dawn Cellars is seeking a part-time Wine Server to work 2 days a week.The ideal candidate should be professional, love the color purple, be reliable, enthusiastic and have a passion for wine. In this role, the Wine Server will work in a team environment to build strong connections with our guests and successfully promote our products and services.
The hours available for this position will be:
• Saturday – 11:30AM – 5:30PM
• Sunday – 11:30AM – 6:30PM
Compensation: $10.00 per hour plus tips.

• Above average knowledge of wine and the wine industry.

Founded in 2016 by Jennifer McDonald, Jenny Dawn Cellars has grown from the dream of an at-home winemaker into Wichita’s first urban winery.In 2017, Jenny Dawn Cellars established a working partnership with a wine facilitator in Napa, California.
